This is a great way to get involved with LIGO gravitational wave detector data analysis using human citizen science input to machine learning. I am not active on this specific data analysis platform and haven’t really been— my contribution was through developing statistics for, writing code for, and testing a different tool called STAMP that is conceptually quite similar to Gravity Spy, rather than providing “by-eye” input to Gravity Spy. Gravity Spy came later.
I have used Gravity Spy briefly for what that is worth, though not as a scientist but rather as a teacher and member of the public. Here’s my collections for Gravity Spy for what they are worth.
I also mentored a science fair student on a project using Gravity Spy when it first began. He did quite well!
I don’t really use this account currently. Here for completeness.
